How to Manually Configure a Linksys E3000

Normally, the Linksys E3000 comes with a CD containing the Cisco Connect computer code. This computer code is inserted when you connect the router to the computer, and mechanically sets up the router to use your net affiliation while not manual access to the router. However, if you are not having the CD or have broken it, you'll still come up on the router to figure together with your network, moreover as your net affiliation.


Instructions

1. Open an internet browser on your laptop, and sort into your browser's address field.

2. Log in to the router at the prompt by coming into "admin" in each the username and positive identification fields that seem, so click "OK" to enter the router main menu.

3. Click "Automatic Configuration - DHCP" at the "Internet affiliation type" field box.

4. Enter the username and positive identification your ISP assigned to you within the individual fields below the "Internet affiliation Type" box.

5. Click "Save Changes" to avoid wasting the router settings. The router connects to the net mechanically.
